"Glee" fans weren't the only ones who thought Kurt and Blaine's kiss was a big deal. The stars themselves admit even they made a production of it.

"I had a Wisp [mini toothbrush] and some ChapStick," Chris Colfer, who plays Kurt, told MTV News. "I did not eat the onions and the Chinese food that they brought to set that day as a courtesy."

Colfer kidded that co-star Darren Criss, who plays Blaine, wasn't as kind. "The boy likes Doritos and tuna, let me tell ya," said the Golden Globe winner.
In truth, Criss said he couldn't wait to shoot the smooching scene.
"I really enjoyed it, because we've all been waiting for it," he said. "I've been waiting for it, and like I've said, the groundwork was laid down so perfectly that on the day, it felt very natural. I was just so happy, it was like a release. Finally, we got [it]. It was building for so long, so I think the excitement that the fans felt was definitely felt in that room. It was very special."
Following that kiss, the two will be taking their relationship to the next level by attending the prom together.
”That story is ripped-from-the-headlines," executive producer Ryan Murphy toldTVLine at a PaleyFest panel discussion. "Can you imagine two boys wanting to go to the prom in Ohio?" That's not to say everything will go smoothly between the guys. It's rumored that Kurt may transfer from Dalton Academy back to McKinley High. "Distance makes the heart grow fonder, right? That's what they tell me," said Colfer. "So even if they do go through some bumps in the road, it would be very realistic."
